Let's skip the Content Management Service (cscpm) to welcome a brand new component, system center Orchestrator (SCO ). As a rookie in the System Center, Microsoft acquired the automated process giant opalis vnext in and renamed it orchestrator.

As a result, an additional member of the system center family has joined Microsoft's most powerful powershell language with SCO, basically, all operations that can be performed on the GUI can be converted to silent operations, and the private cloud architecture of Microsoft is more in line with itil. The SCO plan will be introduced today. The involved servers are as follows (purple indicates completion of deployment, blue indicates planning, and red indicates implementation ):

1. As a process automation role in the system center, it acts as a process-based role in the private cloud architecture, corresponding to the manual process and business order in the traditional IT architecture. First, let's take a look at SCO's system requirements:

2. SCO does not have high requirements on SQL servers. Unless the sorting requirement is SQL _latin1_general_cp1_ci_as, which is consistent with other system center components, the basic functions of SQL can meet SCO's requirements, let's take a look at the SQL version requirements (of course, if you install the management server with the SCO process server, you must use the same SQL Server ):

4. It is recommended that the SCO Management Server be added to the domain. Of course, it is acceptable to not add the server to the domain, but some processes can't be done if they are combined with the ad domain.

7. We also recommend that you create an independent Administrator Group for runbook authorization on the ad domain and add scoadmin to the group.

9. Main SCO roles (ignore some components ):

L SCO Management Server for coordinated connection of various components

L SCO web server: the console of the Web interface to accurately view the process.

L SCO designer is mainly used for OIP (similar to scom management package, providing more diverse components for the process)

L process server (runbook server): It is a key component used for process operations. It is recommended to conduct distributed deployment when multiple processes exist.
