When using the downloaded VMware appliance, you often encounter a problem where the NIC cannot be found. This article provides a solution:

Run
Ifconfig-
Eth1 is displayed, and the MAC address is recorded, that is, the value of hwaddr.
Then execute
Sudo Vim/etc/iftab
Change the MAC address to the value recorded above.
Then
Sudo reboot

Or save the following two sentences as fixmac files.
MAC = 'ifconfig-A | grep "hwaddr" | cut-d ""-F 11'
Echo "eth0 Mac $ Mac ARP 1">/etc/iftab
Then execute
Chmod + x fixmac
Sudo fixmac
Sudo reboot

After the restart, eth0 should be ready for use.
