VMware Workstation network modifies VLAN ID values

When we are tinkering with the virtual machine, sometimes the NIC needs to host multiple VLANs , for example, when deploying fuel, NIC 3 needs to host private, management, and storage network traffic.

In VirtualBox we can select all allow directly in the promiscuous mode entry, but in VMware Workstation we need to manually modify the VLAN ID value.

Taking the VMNET8 network in my VMware workstation, for example, modifies the VLAN ID value to 4095, which is equivalent to VirtualBox opening all allowed promiscuous modes.

Open Network Connection, select Vmnet8 Network Point right-property-microsoft network Client-configuration-Advanced-vlan id-value. As shown below:
