Vmwarevm and host share files

Scenario: the host machine is a Windows system, and the virtual machine is a Linux or Windows

(1) virtual machines are Linux

First install VMware Tools. The folder/mnt/HGFS will be created during installation. Then, the shared files will be visible in the virtual machine settings.

If no/mnt/HGFS directory is found after VMware Tools is installed, it may be because a CD device is mounted to the/mnt directory when VMware Tools is installed (for example, when a VMware Tools image is mounted to/mnt, copy the VMware Tools Installation File, umount, and then install it ), therefore, you must ensure that/mnt is idle during installation.

(2) the virtual machine is Windows

First install VMware Tools, and then share files in the virtual machine settings.
