You can log on to the VPN Server by using the user name and VPN password.
Well, after registration, the next step is to configure your IPhone. I have to say that the IPhone is awesome. There are three VPN connection methods:
Generally, we use L2TP and PPTP. The third IPSec on the IPhone is the well-known Cisco VPN. IT is certainly not a stranger to work on IT. IT is enough to work overtime, so how to use it.
Open Settings> General> network> VPN. Click it and you will see the following:
You can select an existing VPN configuration or create a new one. You can see the following figure:
Description: it is the name of the VPN connection you have set up. You can write it at will. It can be a cat, a cat, or a dog.
Server: This is critical. Generally, it is an IP address, but some are domain names. Here, after you register an account, you can log on to the VPNCUP site to view free servers. There are two free servers on the account tab, one in China and one outside China, you know, if you are using a domestic network, you will use a domestic server.
Account: The account you applied for on VPNCUP
Password: the password here is your password for logging on to the VPN Server, not your password for logging on to the VPNCUP site. The password you entered during registration. The password in the email you received is used to log on to the website.
Encryption Level: Select automatic.
Send all traffic: enabled by default
Proxy: it can be set by default. (Here I select the PPTP connection)
As for why I chose this connection, it involves network-related knowledge. In this free VPN, the free account has only one number of connections at the same time. If the L2TP mode is used, because the L2TP mode is UDP, therefore, data cannot be returned to the server in real time. Therefore, after the connection is disconnected, it usually takes about 10 minutes to connect again. It may also take a longer time to use other modes (TCP mode) generally, this problem does not exist. For example, PPTP mode does not.
However, there are also requirements. PPTP supports almost all PC operating systems. L2TP and IPSec are solutions that cannot be connected to 3G wireless networks. Because L2TP can penetrate firewall restrictions, this allows the vast majority of users to use VPNCUP free test servers, and free test servers provide PPTP, L2TP, and IPSec services at the same time.
Well, an exciting moment is coming.
Save the configuration. We can establish a connection, for example:
After the connection is successful, the following screen appears:
The status is connected, and there is a blue VPN icon in the status bar. Congratulations, the connection is successful. You can log on to FaceBook or www.youtube.com to see if it can be opened.
The following are my test results:
Because it is a free user, the line will be dropped once in less than 20 minutes, so you just need to re-connect, but for smart phones that do not support PPTP, you can only wait for a small meeting sadly, because the other two modes may be a little painful, the identification will fail, but it doesn't matter. wait patiently for about 10 minutes. This free account has MB of traffic each month.
This section describes how to configure a VPN on an IOS device. Likewise, you can configure a VPN on an Android device, provided that the VPN service is supported.
Of course, although it can be turned over the wall, but after all it's a mobile phone, so small screen, it must be uncomfortable. I'm curious that I tried it on the PC, you can successfully connect to your own VPN virtual network. Now, the tutorial is as follows:
Windows 7/Window vista settingsBy default, PPTP connections are used in the following seven steps. If your network does not support PPTP, you can use the L2TP mode to connect, to connect in L2TP mode, modify the connection settings in the last three steps to connect to the VPN Server in L2TP mode.
For OpenVPN logon, see:
Step 1: Open the "Network and sharing center" on the control panel"
Step 2: click "set new connection or network"
Step 3: Select "connect to work zone" and click "Next"
Step 4: If other connections already exist, select "No, create new connection" in this step; if not, this step will be skipped
Step 5: Select "use my Internet connection (VPN)" and click "Next"
Step 6: Enter the VPN Server address in the Internet address bar (view the server address list in the VPN account tab after you log on to the site), enter "VPN connection" in the target name, and click "Next"
Step 7: Enter the user name and VPN logon password you registered on VPNCUP (because VPNCUP. COM manages the site logon password and VPN logon password separately. Therefore, after logging on to the website for the first time, change the VPN logon password in the background.) Click "Connect".
The following describes how to modify the connection settings to connect to the VPN Server through L2TP.
Step 1: Open the configured VPN connection and click Properties.
Step 2: On the Security tab, select L2TP/IPSec as the VPN type, and click Advanced Settings.
Step 3: Use the pre-shared key for identity authentication. Enter "vpncup.com" for the key. Note that all keys are in lower case. Otherwise, the connection fails. After the configuration is complete, the server will be connected through L2TP.
The above is the method for setting the VPN proxy in the Window 7 system. After the setting is complete, enter the user name and password, just like dial-up Internet access. The password here is also the password for you to log on to the VPN Server.
For example:
This is the configuration displayed on your network after the connection: abcde is my local wireless network, and VPN connection is the proxy I Just configured
Okay. Now that the configuration is complete, you can open Facebook. Isn't that awesome? You don't have to be blocked anymore !!!
Errors may occur during dial-up. This may be caused by port problems. If you are using PPTP mode for connection, you need to enable the ports TCP47 and TCP1723, that is to say, the router cannot seal the two ports. When using the L2TP mode, the ports UDP 500, UDP 1701, and UDP 4500 must be enabled, similarly, the router firewall or the firewall software you have installed cannot block these ports.
As for how to enable these ports, I think this pediatric guy can't stop du Niang, Gu dad, unless it's too bad! Now, we wish you a smooth connection!
