When security was implemented last week, the firewalls of the DC, DB, and vcenter machines were enabled. As a result, when vcenter was logged on, it always prompted that the server did not respond, and even the Web Client could not log on.
Handling process
1. Ensure that the vmvare virutalcenter Server service is properly started before you can log on to vcenter.
2. When I check the service in the service, the startup status is always displayed. After a long time, the service has not been started successfully. After the machine is restarted, the service still cannot be started normally.
3. Then I feel that the service is definitely going wrong. After I manually stop the service and start the service again, the service still cannot be started normally.
4. Check whether the vcenter Server communicates with the domain control database server. Because vcenter server has no problem logging in with a domain account, when testing the communication between the vcenter server and the database server, it finds that port 1433 of the database server cannot be opened. After creating a firewall release rule in the database, start the vmvare Virtualcenter Server Service manually again. The service starts normally and the fault is resolved.
