The following error was found when installing wampserver2.5 today

Workaround:

Download the corresponding vc:http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 on this website

64-bit download x64, 32-bit download x86 (this and you Wamp is the corresponding, I just because Wamp is 32 bits, VC is 64 has been installed wrong);

Download it and install it, then uninstall and reinstall the Wamp you just started to install (there will be no problem in general).
