But I still want to share with you some of my new experiences with BCG. On the one hand, I want to talk about my feelings and help you better understand the consulting industry.

I am in the business development department and have the honor to participate in an interview with a managing director (with two project managers) of BCG. The overall impression of BCG is: good image and poor communication ability.

Good Image first. Both project managers graduated from Tsinghua and both were sgmn in a strict sense. During the interview, a man made a full-time pose and seldom interfaced. Tsinghua mm looks good. what's even worse is that the sound is good, which makes you feel irresistible when you open your mouth. The conversation skills are really top-notch.

Poor communication skills. This is not just my personal opinion. From the President to the Director, we all agree that BCG's human communication skills are poor. What are the following aspects:

1. Do not care what others say. Most of the time, the managers have something to say, and the consulting girl does not know how to explore it in depth. The director's words are often swallowed up. We are still the president of the company, and firmly grasp the Initiative,

Let's just say a few points, and then let the customer go. If the interview only targets the materials that have been prepared, I would like to ask the persons you have consulted?

2. Poor language expression ability. One question can be up to one minute... N multi-qualified words, assuming the conditions, make it difficult to contact the female themselves. The feeling is that you are confused before asking a question. I think the question should be concise and targeted.

3. What does the managing director do? I don't know the intention of the Managing Director's trip. I just pay attention to it? The vast majority of time does not speak. Is it because the Germans have little silence?

In the interview process, there were continuous dispositions of directors because they all felt that such interviews were meaningless.

What is the problem?

In my opinion, the problem is that we are superstitious about BCG and Tsinghua. In fact, if the company has a good internal governance structure and a smooth communication mechanism, many grassroots voices can be sent to the highest level without the need for third parties. The reality is that the following voices cannot be uploaded. A top-level helper is superstitious only to foreigners, and he always thinks that the monk from afar will read the scriptures. This kind of superstition does not break away, and does not know how much money will be spent.

Famous Enterprises are too superstitious about famous schools. The barriers to investment banking and consulting are widely recognized by everyone. Are the people recruited really competent? I think it is often used as a decoration. Last time I had dinner with a president of Zhaoxing bank, he talked about the principles of employing people. I finally understood why the retail business of Zhaoxing bank was doing so well. The President said: we do not pay much attention to academic qualifications or prestigious schools.

Do we care about the image? Can my eyes speak? Do you have resources at home? Will it deal with people? Let's take a look at people's employment ideas and the true market orientation.

Boldly put forward a judgment: The employment orientation of employers will pay more and more attention to actual operations and will not be superstitious about the diploma.
Maybe Fudan's student union is not convinced that I will not do these technical tasks. I tell you that most jobs have no technical skills. What are the preparations?
