1, in the Word document, click the handle in the upper-left corner of the table to select the entire table and press CTRL + X to combine (assuming that the table is not useful after you generate the chart), and then save it to the Office Clipboard as shown in Figure 1.

2, on the Insert tab, in the Illustrations option group, click the Chart button to open the Insert Chart dialog box. Then, select a chart type that meets your needs, as shown in Figure 2.

3. Click OK to start the Excel program and open a temporary workbook called "charts in Microsoft Office word," where there is only one worksheet, and the blue wireframe in the upper-left corner of the worksheet is used to indicate the data source of the chart, and the default is sample data. All you have to do is select the A1 cell and press Ctrl + V to replace the sample data with data from the document table, as shown in Figure 3.

4, close the temporary workbook and return to the Word document, at which point the chart has been created according to the data table given by the user, as shown in Figure 4.
