Ways to link OneNote notes to Word documents

Do you want to copy some of the content in your Word document into your OneNote notes and expect to find the original source of the text directly from OneNote? Let's see how we can achieve this wish.

Method One:

1. Open your Word document and click on the "Review" tab;

2. Click the Link Notes button in the OneNote feature group, as shown in the following illustration:

3. In the pop-up dialog box, select the OneNote notes you want to link to this Word document, either by selecting an existing note or by selecting Unfiled Notes under Archive notes to create a new note:

4. After selecting, click OK and you will find OneNote opens the notes you selected and automatically pastes to the right of the current Word document.
