Method One: Run the Detect and Repair command on the Help menu.
(1) On the Help menu in any Office program, click Detect and Repair.
(2) Open the Detect and Repair prompt window and click the Start button (shown in Figure 23-5) to begin the repair.
Tip: To restore a program shortcut to the Start menu, verify that the Restore shortcut when repairing check box is selected.
Method Two: Run the Detect and Repair command from Add or Remove Programs.
(1) Click Start, and then click Control Panel Command.
(2) Double-click the Add/Remove Programs option, right-click Microsoft Office 2003, and select Change command.
(3) in the Microsoft Office 2003 Setup (Microsoft Office 2003 Installation) dialog box, click the Reinstall or Repair option. (4) Click the Next button, click the Reinstall Office or Detect and repair errors in the Office installation option, and then click the Install button.
