ways to use the Equation Editor in PowerPoint presentations
1. Start PowerPoint and open the presentation, and select the slides you want to insert the formula in. On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click the Insert button to open the Insert Object dialog box, and in the Object Type list box, select the Microsoft Formula 3.0 option, as shown in Figure 1.

2. In the Insert Object dialog box, click OK to open the Equation Editor window. Enter the formula "C (m) =m" in the edit area, and then click the Superscript Template button in the toolbar to select the superscript style in the open list, as shown in Figure 2. At this point the insertion point cursor is moved to the superscript position and the number "2" is entered to get the superscript, as shown in Figure 3.

3, press "→" key then enter the letter "a", and then click on the toolbar "Greek alphabet (lowercase)" button, in the Open list to select the Greek alphabet, as shown in Figure 4.

4. Continue to enter the symbol "+" in the formula, and then click the fractional and Radical template button in the toolbar to select the fractional style in the Open Drop-down list, as shown in Figure 5.

5, at this time the formula inserts the fraction, the insertion point cursor automatically places in the molecular text box, enters the fraction the molecule, as shown in Figure 6.

6. Press the "↓" key to place the insertion point cursor in the Denominator text box and add the denominator to the fraction, as shown in Figure 7.

7. When the input is complete, close the Equation Editor window, and the formula will be inserted into the slide as an object. Press and hold the left mouse button to drag the formula to change the position of the formula on the slide, drag the handle on the border to change the size of the formula, as shown in Figure 8.

Attention
On the Insert tab, in the Symbols group, click the Formula button, and the list that you open lists common formulas that users can choose to use directly. When you insert a text box on a slide, and then click the Formula button, select the Create new formula option in the Drop-down list to open the Formula Tools-Design tab, which provides a variety of formula templates that are the same as the formula Editor for users to use, using the same method as the Formula Editor toolbar.
