We are not a private property-what we feel when we get off the lock boom

This is a film directed by Steven Pearson that reflects the freedom of black slaves from real historical events.
In the summer of 1839, the Spanish native ship amisad, which shut down 53 African black people, traveled not far from the Cuban coast in a storm. Hink, The heiu leader, took the lead in rebellion and controlled the whole ship by force. They have only one purpose: return to their homes. The amisad has been drifting on the east coast of America for two months and has been intercepted by the US Navy on the coast of Connecticut. 53 Africans were prosecuted for murder of crew members. At the beginning, the inseruence activist invited the young lawyer Roger Bowen, who was a hacker, to prove that the black men were from Africa and that the smuggling of the black slaves was illegal, and he was acquitted in the court. But later, the people representing the Southern conservative forces appealed the case to the Supreme Court. The opposing political forces wanted to compete in this case ......
This movie gave me two major surprises:
I. When I found that there was not enough food and supplies on the ship, I decided to throw some slaves into the sea to reduce consumption! They tied the legs of the black slaves with a rope into a string and tied them with heavy loads at the end of the rope. When heavy loads are pushed to the sea, the slaves are also pulled to the sea. Other slaves can only watch their companions take precious lives by this cruel method. In the eyes of the black slaves, like ordinary goods, the black slaves buy their own private property and can be processed at will. When they threw the slaves to the sea, they were just like throwing a stone. They didn't feel anything special. They didn't even think about it. The slaves were also human beings, and they had the same life, and their lives are equally precious.
2. During the court debate, sinker, The heiu leader, said in an unskillful English: "Give us free !". Later, other slaves followed him to speak this sentence in poor English, so the whole court echoed this heartfelt cry for freedom. For them, they don't know why they got caught on the ship or why they were shipped so far; they just wanted to get their freedom, return to their hometown.
At the end of the film, these slaves gained freedom and returned to their hometown. The army also destroyed the transfer station for the black slaves transaction. However, the history of selling slaves will never be wiped away in the history of mankind!
