My Environment
HOST: Windows 7 Ultimate x64, amd 5000 +, 4 GB memory
The target is to install Win 7 ult x86 on virtualbox 3.0.10.
Installation Steps
Use the original ISO file, register it in virtualbox, and assign it to the win7 VM:
Then, adjust the startup sequence to start the VM for installation.
The main setting of enhanced VM is to enable virtual support for CPU Hardware:

Install vboxguestadditions:
1. Start the VM and click "device"> "Install enhancement:

Solution to major problems 1: File Sharing
First install vboxguestadditions, and then go to the data space to set the folder to be shared. The folder in my example is down:
There is no problem with this step. After completing this step, create a shortcut in the VM and Type \ vboxsvr \ down in the path (here you can change down to the name of your own folder ):
After the creation, double-click the shortcut to enter the shared folder, oh yeah ~
Question 2: no sound
This is a driver problem. First, set the sound card of the VM to ich ac97,
Download the win7 driver of ac97 from the official website of RealTek and install it on the VM.
Problem 3: Unable to activate
Okay, in this case, we need to add the drive letter to the M primary partition retained by the system in the VM. I am adding E and done.
