One: Set up a virtual host
• For a small business, you can use 2003 to structure a Web site. But what if you have two or more Web sites? Do you want to buy another 2003 server to structure your Web site? No, just one 2003 shelves of two Web sites, by configuring a virtual host to complete the requirements (what is a virtual host?) When you run multiple Web sites on a 2003 server, these sites become virtual hosts. )
So there are two sites on a server, how do users access both sites? There are three different ways to do this.
1> two Web sites use a different IP address. This allows users to enter http://192.168.100.1 in the browser when accessing the first Web site, and enter http://192.168.200.1 in the browser to access the second Web site. (hypothetical)
2> two Web sites use the same IP, but use a different port number. This allows users to enter http://192.168.100.1 in the browser when accessing the first Web site, and enter http://192.168.100.1:81 in the browser when accessing the second Web site
3> two Web sites use the same IP and port number, but use a host header for the second Web site so that users enter the http://192.168.100.1 in the browser on demand when accessing the first Web site, and enter the http://host header in the browser when accessing the second Web site.
