First, look for requirements, web design and other related documents, analyze test requirements, develop test plans, determine test scope and test strategy, generally including the following parts: functional testing; interface testing; performance testing; database testing; security testing; compatibility testing.

Functional Testing (including but not limited to the following):

Link test. Whether the link jumps correctly, whether there are empty pages and invalid pages, and if there is an incorrect error message returned.

Submit a test for the feature.

Whether the multimedia element can be loaded and displayed correctly.

Whether multi-lingual support is able to display the selected language correctly, etc.

interface testing (including but not limited to the following):

Whether the page style is uniform, beautiful

Page layout is reasonable, focus content and hot content is outstanding

Whether the control is working correctly

Provides features that are automatically downloaded and installed for controls that are required but not installed

Text check

Performance Testing (generally considered in the following three aspects):

Stress test; Load test; Strength test

Database Test decide whether or not it is necessary to make a specific decision. The database generally needs to consider the connection, the data access operation, the data content verification and so on.

Security Testing :

Check the basic login function

Whether there is an overflow error, causing a system crash or permission disclosure

Common security issue checks for related development languages, such as SQL injection, etc.

compatibility Test , based on the content of the requirements description, determine the supported platform portfolio:

browser compatibility;

The compatibility of the operating system;

The compatibility of software platform;

Database compatibility.

Conduct tests, and document defects. Make reasonable arrangements to adjust the test progress, get the resources needed for testing in advance, and establish the management system (e.g. requirements change, risk, configuration, test document, defect report, human resources, etc.).

Periodically review, evaluate and summarize the test, and adjust the content of the test.
