Start the WebLogic Management Server, log on using an administrative user WebLogic the management console
With the administration console open, in the tree-shaped domain structure on the left, select services---data source.
In the window on the right, select new general data source
- Fill in the data source name, Jndi name, select database type (this article takes Oracle database as an example)
Click the Next button
Select the database driver and click the Next button
Transaction Options screen, click Next button
- New JDBC Data Source screen
Database name
Host Name
Port number
Database user Name
Password
To connect to DB, click the Next button
- Create a new JDBC data source and click the test Configuration button to see if the JDBC data source that you have configured to complete is available.
A successful connection test prompt message indicates that the JDBC data source configuration was successful.
Click the Next button
- Configure the JDBC data source destination server.
Tick the checkboxes of the servers that need to apply this JDBC data source.
Click the Finish button
Complete the JDBC configuration at this location. No need to start from. can be used directly.
