Webpage color design principles

The use of color in web pages is really very important. Some web pages look very elegant, tasteful, and pleasing to the eye, but the page structure is very simple and the image is not complex, this is mainly because the color is used properly, so I will introduce the color originally in the image production as an independent block.
1. Basic color concepts
Colors in nature can be divided into two categories: non-color and color. Non-color refers to black, white, and various shades of gray, and all other colors are color. Any color has three attributes:
(1) Hue ):
Color is also called color. It is the basic feature of color and reflects the basic appearance of color.
(2) Saturation ):
Also called Purity, refers to the purity of the color.
(3) Brightness (Brightness, Lightness, or Luminousity ):
It is also called brightness, indicating the color depth.
Non-color features only brightness, no difference between hue and saturation.
2. Three primary colors of color
The color of the computer screen is composed of three colors: RGB (red, green, and blue), and we can adjust these three colors to adjust other colors, in many image processing software, the color allocation function is provided. You can enter a three-color value to adjust the color, or you can directly select the color based on the color palette provided by the software.

3. Color of computer images
The color of computer images is calculated and combined by BIT. Pure black and white images are the simplest color structure. One BIT of data is used on a computer, although only black and white, black and white can still be combined to approximate the visual gray order through dense matrix arrangement.
Grayscale has a total of 256 levels of images, which look similar to traditional black and white photos. In addition to the black and white colors, there are still 254 gray shades, the computer must use 8 yuan of information to display the 256 levels.
Full color refers to all colors that RGB three colors can display. Each color is represented in 8 bits. Each color has 256 levels, and the three colors increase or decrease in interaction, the 24-bit 16.77 million color (256*256*256 = 16,777,216) is displayed. This value is the highest color that the computer can represent, that is, RGBTureColor.
An 8-digit color is an image with 256 levels or 256 colors. We often see that an image file in GIF format is an image file with 256 colors. To convert a 24-digit full-color image into a 256-color 8-digit image, you must follow the indexing procedure (Indexed), that is, in the 16.77 million color of the original 24-digit image, first create a color distribution table (histogram), then find the most commonly used 256 colors, define a new color palette, and then replace the original image with the 256 color of the new color tray.

The standard VGA display mode is usually referred to as the 8-bit display mode, that is, 256 colors can be displayed in this mode, while the high Color (Hi Color) display is the 16-bit display mode, it can display 65536 colors, also known as 64 k colors; there is also a True Color (True Color) display mode is 24-bit display mode, can display 16.77 million colors, also known as 16 M Color, this is the highest color display mode that can be achieved by PCs. In this mode, the color of the true color image is no different from that of the high-definition image. We have mentioned the importance of colors on pages in graphic production films, and try to use elegant and concise colors on pages; for example, the background should be as dark and deep as possible (unless otherwise required), and the subject of the root page should be the dominant color.
