My Nic settings are as follows:
DEVICE = wlan0
BOOTPROTO = dhcp
ONBOOT = no
HWADDR = 20: 7c: 8f: 13: aa: 83
CHANNEL = 6
ESSID = TOPGEAR
KEY = 1, 1234567890
MODE = Managed


Use iwconfig wlan0 to display the following:
[Root @ localhost network-scripts] # iwconfig wlan0
Wlan0 IEEE 802.11bgn ESSID: off/any
Mode: Managed Access Point: Not-Associated Tx-Power = 20 dBm
