Method One: If the hardware is not a problem, see if the sound device is disabled
1, first in the computer desktop in the lower right corner of the screen to right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar, and then select the "Play device" option;
2. Then right click on the white blank area of the playback device interface, select "Show Disconnected Devices" and "Show disabled devices" option;
3, if you see the inside of the speaker and headphones icon, right click on the "correct sound device", and then select "Set as Default Device" on it.
Method Two: see if the audio service is starting normally
1, first in the run search to enter "Services.msc", and then in the list of services to find "Windows audio";
2, then right click on "Windows Audio", and then select "Start";
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, check that the sound card or motherboard-related drivers are properly installed.
Method Three: By modifying the registry to resolve
1, first on the WIN8 system desktop, and then press the "Win+r" combination of shortcut keys to open the running dialog box;
2, in the Operation dialog box input "regedit", enter OK open Registry Editor;
3, then click the Editor interface of the "edit" bar, and then click "Find" item;
4, Find the target dialog box input "Audiosrv", and then the dialog box below the whole word matching tick;
5, after searching to find "requiredprivileges" Item, right click Modify;
6, and then the data inside the next two items are deleted to retain the value of "SeChangeNotifyPrivilege", click OK can be resolved.
