What are the forms of residential structure?
The structure of a house refers to the load-bearing skeleton of a house (such as the beams and columns of a house and the load-bearing wall). Its role is to ensure the various loads or forces that affect the house during the term of use, reliability, while ensuring the strength, stiffness and durability of the house, all the forces are reliably transferred to the Foundation.
The structure of a residential building varies depending on its variety, room size, opening depth, and combination methods. The structure of commercial housing is mainly based on the materials used in its load-bearing structure. Divided. It can be divided into three types: brick-concrete structure, brick-wood structure, and reinforced concrete structure:
(1) brick-and-mortar houses
The brick-concrete structure refers to the vertical load-bearing structure of a building, such as walls and wall-mounted columns, which are made of bricks or blocks, and reinforced concrete structures are used for columns, beams, floors, roof panels, and truss. In layman's terms, the brick-and-mortar structure is based on a small part of reinforced concrete and a majority of brick walls, also known as the reinforced concrete hybrid structure. Because the main load-bearing structure of the brick-concrete structure is clay brick, the shape and strength of the brick determine the strength of the house. It can be said that the more the shape of the brick, the higher the strength of the mortar, the thinner the gray joint, the higher the intensity of the masonry, the longer the durability of the house.
The advantages of the brick-and-mortar structure are as follows:
① As bricks are the smallest standardized component and have low requirements on the construction site and construction technology, they can be made into walls of various shapes, which can be produced in various places.
② It has good durability, chemical stability and atmospheric stability.
③ Cement, steel and wood can be saved, without templates, and the cost is low.
④ The construction technology and equipment are simple.
⑤ The Sound Insulation and thermal insulation of brick is superior to concrete and other wall materials, so it is most widely used in residential construction.
(2) brick-and-wood buildings
A brick-and-wood residential building refers to a building with a load-bearing structure in which walls and columns are made of bricks or blocks. The floor structure and roof frame are constructed together with wood structures. Houses with this structure are very common in small and medium-sized cities in China. Its space separation is convenient, light weight, simple construction technology, and simple materials. However, it has a short durability period, incomplete facilities, a large footprint, and a small building area, which is not conducive to solving the conflict between the city and the number of people.
(3) Reinforced Concrete Buildings
A reinforced concrete structure refers to the main load-bearing structure of a house, such as a building built with reinforced concrete for columns, beams, panels, stairs, and roofs, and built with bricks or other materials for walls. This structure has the advantages of good seismic performance, strong integrity, strong corrosion resistance, durability, and so on. In addition, the room has a relatively large open room and depth, and the indoor activity space is also increased accordingly, the indoor space is relatively free to separate. Reinforced concrete structures can be divided into cast-in-place reinforced concrete structures and prefabricated reinforced concrete structures according to their construction methods.
