What are the Internet ways for the Phantom router?

at present, the Phantom route has prepared four of the most commonly used Internet methods: Automatic Internet access (DHCP), dial-up Internet access (PPPoE), manual Internet access (static IP), and wireless relaying.

There are two ways of setting up:

1. Through the mobile client-the Phantom router app settings;

2. Through the Web page to set up.

According to your own actual situation, you can choose a way to access the Internet selection and settings.

First, through the mobile phone app settings (recommended)

Configure automatic Internet access (DHCP)

Usage Scenario: Home is a network environment without the need to enter a broadband account and user password.

Configuration steps →

1. The external network network cable access to the Phantom router WAN, mobile phone connection to the Phantom router WiFi, open the Phantom router app, routing settings-> Internet settings-> Automatic (DHCP) option, click "Settings";

2. To eject the "Setup is complete, please reconnect the router later" and the blue LED illuminated steady indicates the success of the extranet connection, reconnect the router and then surf the Internet.

Configure dial-up access (PPPoE)

Usage Scenario: A network environment with broadband accounts and user passwords must be entered.

Configuration steps →

1. The external network network cable access to the Phantom router WAN, mobile phone connection to the Phantom router's Wi-Fi, open the Phantom router application, routing settings-> Internet settings-> dial-up Internet access, and enter the corresponding dial-up account and password, click Settings;

2. To eject the "Setup is complete, please reconnect the router later" and the blue LED illuminated steady indicates the success of the extranet connection, reconnect the router and then surf the Internet.

Configure manual Internet mode (static IP)

Usage Scenario: If the Network service provider assigns you the static (fixed) IP address (Common campus Network, office network), it is suitable to use this kind of Internet way.

1. The external network network cable access to the Phantom router WAN, mobile phone connection to the Phantom router WiFi, open the Charm family router app, routing settings-> Internet settings-> static IP options, click "Settings";

2. To eject the "Setup is complete, please reconnect the router later" and the blue LED illuminated steady indicates the success of the extranet connection, reconnect the router and then surf the Internet.

Configure the way wireless relay is connected to the Internet

Usage Scenario: The home area is large, the existing router Wi-Fi cannot be completely covered, and you can choose to use the wireless relay function of the Phantom router.

Configuration steps →

1. The phantom routers do not need to access network cables, mobile phone connection to the Phantom router WiFi, open the Charm family router app, routing settings-> Internet settings-> Wireless relay options, click "Settings";

2. Select the existing router in the home Wi-Fi, enter the router Wi-Fi password (if not set the password, you do not need to enter), click the settings, the charm router Wi-Fi will be disconnected restart, later reconnect to the Internet.

Note: Before you select Wireless relay mode, unplug the network cable from the Phantom router, and the-> Wi-Fi name and the extended Wi-Fi name are the same, and can be modified in the routing settings for wireless settings.

Second, through the Web page settings:

1. Connect the Charm family Router WiFi or the computer through the network cable Connection LAN mouth, open the browser, input http://192.168.232.1;

2. Enter the admin password, the initial default password is admin, access to the main page;

3. Go to the homepage to click on the Internet settings, and then according to the home network environment to choose the right way to access the Internet.
