First, let's clarify several questions:
1. What isPre-tax salary?
Generally, the pre-tax salary is also called pay-as-you-go, which is the monthly salary you can get in the month, including salary, meal stickers, car stickers, House posts, and bonuses.
Some unit bonuses are calculated separately. Pre-tax wages include wages, meal stickers, car stickers, House posts, various fixed subsidies, and allowances.
For example, if a person pays a payroll for a month, the basic salary of 1200 meals is pasted with 300 transportation subsidies, 300 post allowances, 600 medical subsidies, and 160 pre-tax salary is 2560 yuan. The employer and your monthly salary generally do not refer to the salary, but to the full package. Therefore, do not consider any subsidies beyond the promised monthly salary. For example, the organization will definitely tell him that your monthly salary is 2560, not 1200.

2. What does post-tax mean.
Many people think that the individual income tax deduction is complete. In fact, this is wrong.
After tax, it refers to your pre-tax salary, deductedPersonal income tax, personal payment in social insurance, and personal payment in housing provident fundAfter the three, you actually get the money. Among them, personal income tax accounts for only a very small part of the students who have just graduated.
The personal payment in social insurance is generallyPre-tax salaryOf 11% (8% of pension insurance, 2% of medical insurance, and 1% of unemployment insurance), the personal payment of the housing provident fund is generally 10%
Note that the personal payment in social insurance and the personal payment in housing provident fund arePre-tax expenditure. Let's look at an example:

Mr. A's expected salary is 4940 yuan;
The personal contribution of social insurance is:
Pension insurance rate = 4940 × 8% = 395.20 (RMB)
Medical insurance rate = 4940 × 2% = 98.80 (RMB)
Unemployment insurance rate = 4940 × 1% = 49.40 (RMB)
Total social insurance individual payments = 543.4 (RMB)
Housing provident fund fee = 4940 × 10% = 494.00 (RMB)

Then, use 4940-543.4-494.00 =3902.6This is calledTaxable IncomeThat is, the personal income tax should be paid based on the money, instead of 4940 yuan.Pre-tax expenditure.

So what is the tax he should pay? This is a relatively complex knowledge. This article provides the formula and answer:
(3902.6-1600) * 15%-125 =220.39(RMB)
That is to say, the total tax paid by this person in 1st day of this month is220.39(RMB)

How much can he get in the end?
4940-543.4-494.00-220.39= 3682.21 (RMB)

Let's look at another example. For a college student, the Unit promises a monthly salary of 2000.
Therefore, the total social insurance individual payments = 2000 * 11% = 220
Housing provident fund fee = 2000 × 10% = 200
2000-220-200 = 1580. The taxable income here is 1580 yuan. Because the income does not reach 1600 yuan, this student does not need to pay personal income tax. The amount he can get is 1580 yuan.

There is more to say about the use of social security and provident fund. What I want to tell you is that these are definitely good things and are an important force to ensure survival. The most important thing is that the unit pays 21% of your pre-tax salary to the individual, and the Unit itself actually pays you the pre-tax salary.39%(20% of pension insurance, 6% of medical insurance, 2% of unemployment insurance, 1% of work injury insurance, and 10% of Provident Fund) to help you pay the part of the unit !!

For example, in the first example, the Unit gives Mr. A 4940 pre-tax salary. Mr. A must pay his own social security and provident fund of 543.4 + 494 yuan = 1037.4 yuan, however, the Organization must pay part for the unit that Mr. A pays 4940 * 39% = 1926.6 yuan to the country at the same time! These are actually insurance and provident fund for you !! Therefore, do not reject the payment of insurance and provident fund. If you pay more, the Unit will pay more for you.

Some organizations do not participate in the Provident Fund program. In this way, 10% of your monthly salary does not need to be deducted and will be given to you directly. However, 10% of the RMB paid by the Organization is also saved. Let's think about it for ourselves. One is to get 10% now, the other is to save 10% now, and the Unit is also to save 10%. Which one is your cost-effective in the future?

These are what I want to talk about today. Of course, you may not understand anything, especially the Personal Income Tax algorithm. You are welcome to ask questions and exchange ideas. Thank you.
