I personally think that this is the most difficult time and the lowest time in the company, so the days will never go forever.
I have been responsible for the company's management, including personnel for the past five years. So if you have something to do, you just need to think about people, including how the team manages and why the employees leave.
There is an episode between two stories. Here I want to talk about it:
I. In the first half of this year, we recruited a Java developer. At that time, I felt like a good person. I will not comment on the front-end practice here, but he is not able to understand the strong dissatisfaction. After talking about it several times, he found that there was no way. He proposed to leave after leaving. But less than a month later, he found his former leadership and said, "I want to come to our company. I am dizzy. Do we dare?
2. We have recruited a test employee who has been working for more than 10 years and has arrived from other places. I think this person can endure hardships, and the company should be able to see the world of NLP for a long time. In the first half of this year, people were in great turmoil, so I didn't ask too much about the testing work. I had to do things on my own. In fact, there were still a lot of things. I was asked if I could take the initiative two months later, this is a bit idle, so I went to the Internet to find a job, and the treatment was better than this, speechless, and there was no gap between 5%, that is, I insisted on going and there was no way to let people go. In less than a week, I told my former colleagues that the work environment outside was not as good as I thought. If I wanted to come back, I still felt dizzy. What happened to people now?
Through these two things and the subsequent things, I feel a few points:
1. The company's current competitiveness is much greater than before, which is a good phenomenon. This kind of thing has never happened before. Fortunately.
2. The current employees are extremely impetuous. They may not be a problem of the whole society, but there are only one chance.
3. Many people in and out of the city in the besieged city feel strong. This includes traditional ideas, external ideas, and excellent reading experience, as well as the Public Opinion Orientation of the forum, 10 KB of work in a year, and misleading salary.
So I also changed my attitude towards recruiting and retaining people:
1. Only 3 years of recruitment and new graduates. The reason is that, after statistical analysis, if the slot is skipped within three years, the chance of another job-hopping will be very high. In three years, it should be accurate to say that the stability will be much better after five years. I feel tired of jumping, many companies in China are similar, so they don't want to jump. 2. I feel that I only need to talk about it once and don't give up. Statistics show that most developers leave their jobs after a long period of consideration, and they have a firm attitude, therefore, the possibility of retaining is very small, and the probability of my statistics is less than 10%. In addition, the probability of two negotiations being left behind is not yet available, so there is no need to waste effort.
