Software is a very brain-intensive work, so young software programmers have the best motivation and learning ability, youth is undoubtedly the largest capital. But the number of people who turn this ability into working capacity is far from satisfying the needs of the industry. This is also the opportunity for high pay, it is easy to learn things, it is not more intense competition. But I am also worried that after the age of 35, I cannot continue with this work. There is no doubt that 30-35 is the most important transition period, which is left to us all to think about always.
2, in addition to career change and their own boss, as a project manager or management staff is not our only way out.
Many of the younger friends ' answers seem to tend to boil down to the question of the project manager, the project supervisor and so on. I think this in itself means that 90% will not find a way out, this is probably more brutal than willing to choose the college entrance examination, it is to see your comparative advantage, not your absolute ability, the elimination of what people do. I think I am not so confident that I have been able to stand on the waves, and do not want to live a lifetime of turbulence. My definition of success is to have a sense of superiority over others, but also to understand the Swift retreat, enjoy the success of the wealth brought. Being management is not the only way for me to do it, nor is it as easy as it seems.
3. If everyone is staring at the position of the project manager, what will be left of the eliminated people.
I think most of us are intellectually, destined to be ordinary people, only a few can become senior white-collar. But in most cases, I don't want to think of myself as a person who will be eliminated, but I have to wonder what these people will do in the future. Transformation is painful, some of my friends back to the stable and treatment of medium-sized enterprises to go to the days of leisure, there are several still outside to fight, the situation is not ideal, in the real familiar with the people, do not have much management. So, what I want to say is that the situation is still grim.
4, senior IT employees, how many follow-up career can choose.
As far as I can think and touch, I think at the beginning, many people started with programming, and friends called Corder. But in terms of China's situation, the programmer to complete the work than the bottom of the foreign coders more complex, often analysis, design, coding, testing together, I was involved in this. But let me strange is that there are so many foreign programming masters, engaged in C,unix system so many years, still want to write code, is writing code is really more than 20-year-old talent capable of it. Software engineers, systems engineers, technical managers, project managers, product managers, technical support managers, software test engineers, system analysts, in fact, in an enterprise, these positions are not all, there is no standard of salary, any position is likely to get a high salary. The key question is how many years of accumulated experience can have a market advantage in the industry.
5, you design for yourself what kind of career history.
I am the analysis, coding are done, the C + + has a deep feeling, I think I will not because do pm and give up to become a C + + master of the possibility, but to be a senior project management staff is also very tempting. In fact, I also see that a lot of people who specialize in a certain field and have done very well have not much overlap with the areas involved in project management or technical manager. This contradictory emotion has made my future more uncertain.
