I. Installation on Lenovo desktop:
The PCI simple communication controller of the Device Manager is an AMT driver. Intel AMT is fully called INTEL Active Management Technology (Intel Active Management Technology ), the embedded operating system of AMT technology is integrated into the hardware (just like the BIOS), and its functions are provided by the management engine on the motherboard (the physical computing capability of ME is provided by the North Bridge chip).
1. Open
Official Lenovo driver website, Select "driver Download ";
2. Download the driver and select the model or host number of the current notebook to find the driver, as shown in the following figure:
3. Take windows 8.1 as an example to download the corresponding AMT driver;
4. Find the downloaded AMT file and double-click to decompress it. The default path is desktop. Click "install ";
5. After decompression, the table will generate a folder named amt. open the folder to find setup.exe and double-click it;
6. Click "next ";
7. Click "yes ";
8. Click "finish ";
9. Now, go to the device manager to see that the driver has been installed.
II. Install Lenovo laptop:
The PCI simple communication controller of the Device Manager is the MEI driver. Intel MEI is called Intel Management Engine Interface.
1. Open the official Lenovo driver website and select "download drivers ";
2. Download the driver and select the model or host number of the current notebook to find the driver, as shown in the following figure:
3. Take Windows 8.1 as an example to download the corresponding EMI driver;
4. Find the downloaded MEI file and double-click to decompress it. The default path is desktop. Click "install ";
5. After decompression, the table will generate a folder named "Mei". Open the folder to find setup.exe and double-click it;
6. Click "next ";
7. Click "yes ";
8. Click "finish ";
9. Now, go to the device manager to see that the driver has been installed.
