What is the difference between HTTP and HTTPS?

It is a transfer protocol used to transmit hypertext over the Internet. It is an HTTP application protocol that runs on top of the TCP/IP protocol family. It can make the browser more efficient and network transmission less. Any server, in addition to the HTML file, has an HTTP resident program for the appropriate user request. Your browser is an HTTP client that sends a request to the server, and when a start file is entered in the browser or a hyperlink is clicked, the browser sends an HTTP request to the server, which is sent to the URL specified by IP. The resident program receives the request and echoes the requested file after making the necessary request.

It is Netscape developed and built into the browser to compress and decompress the data and return the results back on the network. HTTPS actually uses Netscape's full sockets Layer (SSL) as a sub-layer of the HTTP application layer. (HTTPS uses port 443 instead of using port 80 as HTTP to communicate with TCP/IP.) SSL uses 40-bit keywords as the RC4 stream encryption algorithm, which is appropriate for the encryption of business information. HTTPS and SSL support use of the digital authentication of the number, and if necessary, the user can confirm who the sender is.
Note: The default setting for the remote administration site is SSL-enabled, also use HTTPS!!
