What JavaScript framework should I learn in 2018?

First, I want to define the code framework in my mind because the word is controversial. I think the framework is a library (note: Individuals disagree with this statement), which defines the structure of each aspect or layer, making it easier to create the task of the application. From the layer, I mean database, model, controller, view, presentation layer, network, etc...

The framework tries to solve most of the large and known problems that are frequently encountered in the application. They have built in a lot of design decisions that you don't need to care about, and they have well-developed guidelines.

Good frameworks have smart defaults and concepts that follow conventions rather than configurations, and doing well in this respect is the Ruby on Rails framework and one of my favorite frameworks. In JavaScript, the Angular and Ember are the leader JavaScript frameworks.

Now that we have this in mind, I'll answer the title answer: which JavaScript framework should I study in 2018?

My answer is: No.

Let me explain why.

Unless you need to use a framework for your work, don't learn a framework just to learn. What I'm talking about is learning how to use a framework that will quickly become obsolete.

On the other hand, you should learn how the framework works, which is very valuable knowledge. If you learn a framework for motivation is to get a good job and know how the framework works better than just knowing how to use it, it certainly gives a deeper impression.

Learn how to use a framework only when you really need it.

I think in order to become a more market developer, there are many more important techniques to learn:

Learn about JavaScript itself, the good parts and the bad parts, and the modern features you've just added recently; Learn how to create and use a wide variety of data structures in JavaScript.

Learn how JavaScript runs, like node and browser, and how they are single-threaded, learn their APIs and their boundaries, learn event-loop, and learn the call stacks of VMS. Familiarize yourself with the browser's DevTools.

Learn how to share code and preload data on the client and server side, learn how to minimize JavaScript loading and how to parse in a browser, and learn how to load JavaScript on demand.

Learn functional programming and use it where you need it; Learn how to make a declarative rather than an imperative.

Instead of focusing on the API, focus on the libraries that specialize and fine-tuned small JavaScript libraries, choose the library with the smallest APIs, and focus on what these libraries can do for you.

Learn how to build a scalable data API (you can see GRAPHQL)

Learn the power of CSS and how to use it to reduce JavaScript code in your app, learn new layout properties: Flexbox and Grid, and learn responsive design.

Learn how to add static types to JavaScript by typescript (or flow), while you should focus on types and tests.
