What if the router fails to enter the Settings page when DHCP is turned off?

We all know that when the router is used when the switch, you need to shut down the DHCP service to normal use, if you need to use the router to dial another, you need to go into the router settings to reset, but enter the router IP address 192.168.1.1 ( Some routers are 192.168.0.1) but can not enter the settings page, this is how to do? This is because the router's DHCP service is turned off, routers cannot automatically assign IP addresses to computers in the local area network, and the computer defaults to automatically obtain IP addresses. This causes the computer to get no IP address, so there will be no access to the Router Settings page.

Just follow the steps below to get to the Router Settings page:

The first step: the mouse clicks on the computer desktop in the lower right corner of the small computer icon, in the pop-up dialog box, click on "Open Network and Sharing Center", as shown in the following figure:

Step two: Eject the network and Sharing Center interface, click Change adapter Settings. As shown in the following illustration:

Step three: Locate the local connection, right-click and select Properties. As shown in the following illustration:

Step Fourth: Locate and click Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPV4) and click Properties. As shown in the following illustration:

Step Fifth: Choose to use the following IP address (S); Set IP address to 192.168.1.10, subnet mask to 255.255 255.0, Gateway 192.168.1.1, click OK. As shown in the following illustration:

At this point, manually specify IP address settings to complete, re-enter 192.168.1.1 to enter the router settings page. If you are still unable to enter the router Setup page after the above steps, you can reset it to the factory defaults by holding down the router for more than 5 seconds in the power state.
