What if the Win7 disc doesn't play automatically?

So how do you solve a Win7 disc that can't be played automatically?

1, anti-virus software, computer security software to prevent. Because now many CD viruses, u disk virus is transmitted by automatic playback, so the need for computer security, some anti-virus software, computer safety software to prevent the CD-ROM automatic playback;

2, the operating system itself limitations. In particular, Win7 and its future operating system, is also in the computer security considerations and the default prohibit computer CD-ROM or u disk automatic playback function.

3, computer users of the operating system security configuration (for example, through Group Policy to prohibit CD-ROM autoplay, through the registry to prohibit automatic playback, etc.), can also prevent the CD or U disk automatic operation;

4, CD-ROM or u disk's own problems, such as optical drive failure and other reasons;

Therefore, the solution to the CD can not automatically play from the above several aspects, in the elimination of the equipment itself, the possibility of failure, generally from the following aspects can be solved the disc can not automatically play the problem. Of course, it is forbidden to automatically play the disc and not allow the AutoPlay disc to be set up only in reverse operation.

　　Method One, changes the anti-virus software and the computer security software setting.

This different anti-virus software has different settings, and usually anti-virus software or security software in the CD to prevent the automatic operation of the same time will be prompted, generally based on the relevant settings can be prompted;

　　Method Two, changes the operating system the default setting, sets up the CD automatic playback function.

1, WinXP operating system does not require special settings, generally can; for the Win7 system, you need to open Control Panel and select hardware and sound, as shown in the following illustration:

2, then click, "AutoPlay", as shown in the following figure:

4, after this setting, usually can automatically play the CD file or through the CD-ROM, start a USB disk to run some programs. However, some users will not be able to set up after this, or only pop-up dialog box allows the user to choose to run manually, and no actual playback. In this case, you may need to set up the registry in the following ways:

Start, run, type regedit, enter, and then expand the options below the registry:

Then, we also need to modify another key value of the registry, expand:

After the modification is complete, you need to reboot the computer, you can generally solve the problem that the disc can not be played automatically.

If you can't play yet, you need to check the Group Policy. Methods: Start-run-gpedit.msc, enter, then click "Admin Templates", then "Windows Components", then click "AutoPlay Policy" at the bottom right, as shown in the following figure:
