Typically, a remote connection to Win7 requires only 5 steps to complete the setup:
1, query and record the IP of remote computer, click Start Menu--run--input cmd, enter, accurate view and record ipadress
2. Set a password to the computer's account
3, click on the computer, select Properties-Remote settings-Allow Telnet
4, Power Options (so that the computer into sleep state: Change to "never"), it is important that the computer into sleep can not log on remotely
5. Close the firewall (not necessary)
If you still cannot connect your computer remotely after these steps are set up, follow these steps to check your settings
1, General settings:
Right-click Computer, select Properties-Remote settings, in the System Properties window, switch to remote, select "Allow Remote Assistance to connect to this computer" and "Allow connections to computers running any version of Remote Desktop (less secure)."
2, if the 1th step is set up after the other computer can not come remotely, you can follow the following steps to adjust the Win7 firewall settings:
Click the Start menu, select Control Panel--windows Firewall-Advanced Settings-inbound rules, find and right-click File and printer Sharing (Echo Request-icmpv4-in) (there may be two) Select "Enable Rule".
3, complete the 2nd step, if still can not remotely connect over, and finally check Win7 remote Desktop Services service is open, if not open is not connected, set up steps:
Right-click the computer, select management-Services and applications-services, locate and right-click the Remote Desktop Services service, and uncheck Enable.
4, check the above three steps are normal, if still not connected, may be Windows Firewall settings problem, you need to enable the "Remote Desktop (tcp-in)" rule in the inbound rule:
Click the Start menu, select Control Panel--windows Firewall-Advanced Settings-inbound rules, locate and right-click Remote Desktop (tcp-in) (may have profiles for "public", "Domain, private" two rules) select "Enable Rule" can be.
