What's the microSD card?
MicroSD Card is a very small flash memory card, its format originates from the SanDisk creation, originally this memory card is called T-flash, and renamed to TransFlash, and renamed MicroSD because of the SD Association (SDA) mining. Other memory cards that have been SDA are MINISD and SD cards.
It is mainly used in mobile phones, but it is now used in GPS devices, portable music players and some flash memory disks because of its small size and increasing storage capacity.
Its volume is 15mm x 11mm x1mm, almost equal to the size of the finger, is now the smallest memory card. It can also be connected to the SD card slot through the SD riser card. The microSD card currently offers 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1G, 2G, 4G, 8G, 16G and 32G capacity.
Micro SD Card Application
The Micro SD card is now mainly used in mobile phones, but it is now used in GPS devices, portable music players and some flash memory disks because of its small size and increasing storage capacity.
TF Khaki is mainly used in mobile phones, but because of its small size and increased storage capacity,
It has been used in GPS devices, portable music players and some flash memory disks. Its volume is 15mm x 11mm x1mm,
Almost equal to the size of the fingernail, is now the smallest memory card. Because the early USB interface is not popular, so the digital camera output port is connected with the computer serial port, because the data transmission speed of the serial port is very low, if the data copied to the hard disk, it will cost a lot of waiting time, therefore, the card reader was born. The TF card is inserted into the card reader and the compact TF card is used as a USB drive. Currently, the TF reader supports 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1G, 2G, 4G, 8G, 16G, and 32G.
Pin
The PIN definition of the SD card is different from the Micro SD (TF) card's pin definition.

D Card: 1-data3,2-cmd,3-vss,4-vdd,5-clk,6-vss,7-data0,8-data1,9-data2.
TF Card (SD mode): 1-DATA2,2-DATA3,3-CMD,4-VDD,5-CLK,6-VSS,7-DATA0,8-DATA1
TF Card (SPI mode): 1-RSV,2-CS,3-DI,4-VDD,5-SCLK,6-VSS,7-DO,8-RSV
Characteristics
The TF card reader is generally easy to carry, similar in size to a small USB drive, and the card reader has the same function as a USB drive. Also use the USB interface. The card reader is similar to a USB floppy drive for a computer, but it is not a floppy disk, but a variety of flash cards.
When used, the TF card is inserted into the corresponding card slot according to the prompts, then the USB head of the other end is inserted into the USB socket of the computer, only the correct insert can display and read and write the data in the card.
Interface
The interface type refers to the way and type of connection between the card reader and the computer host. The card reader is used
TF Card Reader
USB interface, divided into USB1.1 interface and USB2.0 interface, the difference is the maximum data transfer rate is different. USB1.1 is 12Mbps, and USB2.0 is the 480mbps,usb2.0 interface of the maximum data transfer rate is 40 times times the USB1.1 interface, has obvious advantages, but the product price is relatively more expensive than the USB1.1 interface products.
A new version of USB3.0 has emerged, providing a standard interface for a variety of devices connected to PCs or audio/HF devices. From the keyboard to the high throughput disk drives, various devices are able to use this low-cost interface for a smooth running Plug and Play connection.
