Do you want to get a sync update with your professional blog post?

You can subscribe to career blogs and get updates in a number of ways, many of whom use RSS feeds. So, what exactly is RSS?

What is RSS?
RSS is a technique that many netizens use to track a website he or she likes.

Before RSS, we need to be able to see the content of the site update by "Adding the site to Favorites" and then needing to click on the link in "Favorites" frequently.

Problems with the Favorites folder:

1. You need to operate all the surfing steps.

2. It is difficult to view multiple pages at the same time.

3. If you forget to check your favorites, you will miss the update information.

4. Those content that has not been updated for a long time will appear again and again in front of you.

RSS changes everything.
Synchronize with the website update, this is the function of RSS.

You can read your subscribed websites at any time via RSS. RSS can save you time and help you quickly get updates to your website.

RSS is "Really Simple Syndication" abbreviation, Chinese translation is called "Aggregation content". It is a format for describing and synchronizing web site content, and is currently the most widely used XML application, many people call it "news feed".

RSS is like subscribing to a magazine, but the magazine is not mailed to you at a fixed time of the month, but is mailed to you as soon as it is published.

The technical principles of RSS need to be introduced separately, the purpose of this article is to introduce the benefits of RSS and how to apply it.

To be honest, I'm not a technical expert, but I can also use RSS. When I first started using RSS, I felt a little strange, but after using it I found that I could not live without it.

So, how do you use RSS?
Install an RSS browser-this is the first step.

There are various RSS browsers on the Internet, and we recommend Google Reader and Bloglines. I'm using Google Reader.

RSS Browser is a bit like mail, unread pages will be colored, after clicking on the browser can see the updated content. At the same time, you can choose to browse the actual page or read the next page that has not yet been read.

The best way to learn how to use Google Reader and Bloglines is to use it.

Note: Of course, you can also track your site through Myyahoo, Mygoogle, or mymsn.

How to find an RSS feed.
There are two ways to find an RSS feed for your website:

1. Web Search

You should find a lot of buttons and widgets on your favorite websites or blogs, which may have an orange button next to the number of subscriptions, called RSS, XML, Atom, or other--all pointing to an RSS feed address. The buttons are various and some of the following you may have seen:

Of course, there are many more. Each time you see these or similar buttons, it means that the site can be subscribed via RSS. This is really simple, just copy and paste the address of the button to your RSS browser or click on the button and follow the instructions to subscribe.

2. Browser Search

Many browsers now have the ability to find and subscribe to RSS feeds.

Firefox and Safari can see the RSS button in the Address bar, and IE7.0 can see the RSS button in the status bar. If you click on these buttons, the RSS feed will be saved to your browser, and of course, you can subscribe by modifying the browser's properties to select an RSS browser such as Google Reader or Bloglines.

If you don't like the RSS browser, you can subscribe by mail.
Many websites offer mail subscription services. There is a mail subscription button available in the upper right corner of this blog. You can subscribe at any time, or you can unsubscribe at any time. Your email address will be kept confidential and will not be used for any other purpose.
