Programmers often write on their resumes to familiarize themselves with Oracle and SQL Server. So it is very likely to be asked about the difference between Oracle and SQL Server, and many people are being asked. I have never thought about this problem. I usually take a lot of features into consideration. This is nothing more than a problem. Find trouble for yourself.
I have also found answers to this question from the internet. I think there are too many answers. They are all copied from books. Do we also want to endorse during the interview?
I personally summarized it today. The difference between Oracle and SQL Server is enough for the following points during the interview.
Oracle has a composite data type, but SQL Server does not.
Declaration method: variable name object name % type.
The variable type here can be all existing data types with dependencies. the variables used in the stored procedure are more flexible, but the efficiency should be lower. In Oracle stored procedures, the cursor type variables are used to return and access the record set. I have never used similar functions in SQL Server.
Usage in Oracle: assign values to variables while querying during stored procedures.
Select a column name into variable name from table where...; equivalent to the select variable name = column in Oracle ....
