Request structure

Service Address

The ECS API service access address is: ecs.aliyuncs.com

Communication protocol

Support for request communication over HTTP or HTTPS channels. For higher security, it is recommended that you use the HTTPS channel to send requests.

Request method

The HTTP get method is supported to send a request, in which case the request parameter needs to be included in the requested URL.

Request parameters

Each request needs to specify the action to be performed, that is, the action parameter (for example, Startinstance), and the public request parameters that each operation needs to contain and the request parameters that are unique to the specified operation.

Character encoding

The request and return results are encoded using the UTF-8 character set.
