What is a wireless extender?
A: The wireless extender is a repeater (Wi-Fi signal amplifier ). The function of this function is to plug in a weak signal and enlarge the weak signal of an existing wireless router in your home (or in other scenarios) so that signals are available in all corners, build a wireless roaming network with the original wireless router. As shown in the following figure:

How many wireless extenders are needed in the home environment?
A: Generally, a wireless router and a wireless expansion device can cover a normal three-bedroom environment. If you are using a larger area, we recommend that you add a suitable number of wireless extenders for better wireless Internet access experience.

Can wireless extenders increase the number of hosts?
A: The wireless extender is used to expand the coverage of existing wireless routers. It cannot increase the number of wireless networks with machines. The number of devices with machines depends on the master router.

Can the wireless extender expand the wireless routers of other manufacturers?
A: Generally, most of the wireless routers on the market can be scaled successfully. However, it is not ruled out that the routers of other manufacturers may be compatible and cannot be scaled successfully.

What are the three colors (red, green, and orange) of the wireless extended indicator light?
A: The color of the extended indicator can be used to determine the operating status of the extended indicator. See the following table:

Can I use WeChat to scan the QR code on the wireless extender housing?
A: browsers that support the code scanning function (such as UC, QQ, Baidu, and Cheetah) can scan the QR code on the shell tag to log on to the management interface. However, the QR code cannot be scanned by WeChat.

Why can't I find the extended signal after the expansion is successful?
A: The function of the wireless expansion device is to enlarge the original signal. After the expansion device is successful, the Wireless name of the expansion device is the same as that of the primary router by default. You can connect to the searched signal.

Is the extended network of the wireless extender capable of wireless roaming?
A: After the expansion is successful, the wireless signal name and password sent by the wireless extender are the same as those of the primary router. The terminal can automatically roam when it moves in the wireless network. Of course, the specific roaming switch is automatically executed by your terminal, without manual operations.

, How to adjust the expansion device to the most appropriate place?
A: When the indicator light is green after the wireless extender is successfully expanded, it indicates that the expansion device is properly positioned. If the indicator light is orange, it indicates that the expansion device is too close to or too far from the master router. Please adjust the position of the expansion device again and wait until the indicator light is green.
