Apple released the Mac OS X 10.10.1 update today, the first update since the October Mac OS X 10.10 launch. The Mac OS X 10.10.1 Test began this month 3rd, when Apple released the update to its users with two beta releases.

Users can now obtain the update via the Mac App Store's software upgrade (Software Update) mechanism. Apple recommends that all Yosemite users upgrade this update, which will improve the stability and compatibility of the Mac. The update includes:

• Improved WiFi reliability

• Improved reliability when connecting to Microsoft Exchange Server

• Improved reliability of sending "mail" messages using certain e-mail providers

• Improved reliability of connecting to remote computers using "Back to my Mac"

This update should fix several major problems with Yosemite users, including the problem of many user-feedback WiFi connections.
