What should a sophomore learn after learning to teach themselves programming and learn the C + + grammar?

Learned a few days of Java, but not feeling very good, or want to stick with C + + do.
Looking at Python, it's okay, but the current pace of learning is just to see that Python is simpler to write than C + +, but C + + is more powerful and freer, and Python has to remember the import (Python just learned a little bit, just the current view).
