Symptom
The router fails to be upgraded. The error code 18002 is displayed.
Solution
1. Follow standard procedures
The standard procedure for TFTP upgrade is: download the upgrade software-> decompress the upgrade software-> log on to the vro interface-> run tftp32.exe in the upgrade software-> click the upgrade button on the management interface.
2. Decompress the downloaded upgrade package
Check that the downloaded update program has been decompressed and you cannot directly open the tftp32.exe program in the compressed package.
Note: If you cannot decompress the package, download and install the WinRAR or WinZip tool.
3. Run the program as an administrator
For operating systems such as Vista, Windows 7/8, 8.1, and 10, we recommend that you do not double-click the TFTP server, but right-click the server and select "run as administrator".
4. Disable computer firewall and anti-virus software
Try to disable or exit anti-virus software on your computer and disable the firewall that comes with Windows. To disable the firewall in each operating system, click the reference document:

5. Check the IP address of the TFTP server
Make sure that the IP address on Server interfaces in tftp32 is the same as the IP address of the TFTP Server on the upgrade page. If different, select an IP address or re-run tftp32.exe on the update page in the Server interfaces.pdf of the TFTP Server.
If the upgrade fails after the above operations, it is recommended that you replace another computer to try the operation.
