What to do when you install Office 2016 start acrobat with a "Cannot find a portal" error

A user is reflected on a Windows 7 SP1 computer with Office 2016 installed, and when you start Acrobat, you receive the following error message: "Unable to locate the program input point ucrtbase.terminate to the dynamic link library Api-ms-win-crt-runt Ime-l1-1-0.dll on the ". This issue is related to Office 2016 installations because it does not always install the VS2015 runtime on a Windows 7 computer.

The workaround is to manually install the VS2015 runtime. If the runtime is installed, startup Acrobat will not receive this error message.

Solution: Install Microsoft Visual C + + run

Download the Microsoft Visual C + + 2015 runtime from the Microsoft Download Center. Double-click the appropriate download file to install-Vc_redist.x64.exe (for 64-bit computers) and Vc_redist.x86.exe (for 32-bit computers).
