What about "internal program errors" When you open windows Media Player?

After my home computer was updated to Windows XP SP2 (Windows Media Player was automatically updated from 9.0 to 10.0), there was a problem with WMP: every time you open it, only one window pops up, and "internal program error" is written. What the hell is going on here?

Workaround reference: When Windows Media Player "Internal program error" appears, enter the following two commands in the Start → Run dialog box:

regsvr32 jscript.dll

regsvr32 vbscript.dll

Registering Jscript.dll and Vbscript.dll can fix WMP errors.
