Today I want to install Oracle 11g R2 on my Ubuntu, have some tutorials on the web, and then find the operating System Requirements on the Oracle website, as follows:

Starting with Oracle Database oneG Release 2 (11.2), the Security enhanced Linux (SE Linux) feature is supported for Or Acle Linux 4, Oracle Linux 5, Oracle Linux 6, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, and Red Hat Enterpri Se Linux 6.
From the Linux system listed on the Oracle official website, there is no Ubuntu operating system at all. Let's look at a list of Linux distributions and find out that Oracle doesn't support Debian-based Linux systems. So I abandoned the idea of installing Oracle on Ubuntu and wanted to install it on CentOS. At least CentOS is still a Redhad branch.
