When CentOS6.2 64-bit Oracle11g is installed, check package cannot pass. In fact, this problem occurs in 11g. It is estimated that this problem will occur in earlier versions of oracle, the 64-bit and 32-bit packages of the corresponding package will be checked when the oracle check package fails. Generally, the 32-bit packages cannot be found. The specific prompt content is i386 missing, after checking, we found that all the 32-bit packages in CentOS 6.2 64-bit have been changed to i686 (5.8 or i386), so oracle could not find the 32-bit package he thought, this should be a problem of compatibility between oracle and centos.

Solution:

Rpm-q package name

Confirm that the packages prompted by oracle all have x86_64 and i686 versions, and then ignore the error and force the installation. Everything works properly.
