When installing software in Windows 7, you cannot write the registered value to the Registry.

Let's check whether any software has been installed to seal the registry. Such as anti-virus software and firewall. After the software is turned off, install the software again. If not, uninstall the anti-virus software and install the software again.

Change organizational unit policy settings
Steps:
Start-run (enter Gpedit. msc)-OK or press ENTER;

The "Local Group Policy Editor" window is opened;

Open "user configuration", click "manage template", and left-click: system;

We can see that there are many options on the right of the window. In the "Group Policy" option, find: "blocked access to registry editing tools", left-click and double-click: "blocked access to registry editing tools ";

In the pop-up "forbidden access registry editing tools" window, select "disabled" and click "OK" to exit the "Local Group Policy Editor". The Registry has been unlocked.

Step 3: After the above operations, if the software cannot be properly installed, the system may be poisoned. We can use a dedicated anti-virus software to completely disinfect the virus and delete the virus files in the quarantine area, prevent secondary virus infection.
