When nginx fails to start, the following error occurs: libpcre. so.1: cannot open shared object file.

Source: Internet
Author: User

We can see that,Libpcre library file missing. However, I am a newbie and I feel that I have nowhere to start. Finally, Google goes down. The solution is very simple. You can use the root user to execute a command.

Problem

[Root @ bogon lib64] #/usr/local/nginx/sbin/nginx

/Usr/local/nginx/sbin/nginx: error while loading shared libraries: libpcre. so.1: cannot open shared object file:

No such file or directory

Solution:

The code is as follows: Copy code

[Root @ bogon lib64] # ln-s/usr/local/lib/libpcre. so.1/lib64

Solution:

The code is as follows: Copy code

Ln-s/usr/local/lib/libpcre. so.1/lib64

For 32-bit systems:

Ln-s/usr/local/lib/libpcre. so.1/lib

Note:
/Usr/local/lib/libpcre. so.1 is the file address after prce installation.
Libpcre. so.1 corresponding to earlier prce is libpcre. so.0
