The following is the details. Switch to the/bin directory and use ls-l to check whether the su File Permission is rwxr-xr-x or-rwxrwxrwx. If yes, run the following command:

Chmod ug + s su

Then it should be OK.

Permission comparison:

Permission before modification:-rwxrwxrwx

Permission after modification:-rwsrwsrwx

Why should I grant su this file + s this permission?

The add s permission executes the program as the owner. This is why root can use su, but other users cannot.

Root has the highest permissions. to execute a program as the owner of a program, you do not need to enter a password. Other users need to enter a password to do so.
