I. Problem introduction

When the computer wireless connection to the router signal, the connection fails, the prompt" Windows Unable to connect XXX(XXX is the router's wireless signal name) ", as shown in the following figure:

See the following solutions.

II. Solution

1 Connect the computer to a wireless router

A computer is too far away from a wireless router or has a wall or obstacle in the middle. As a result, the wireless signal found by the computer is weak and thus cannot connect to the router signal.

Connect the computer to the router and connect the wireless signal of the router at a close distance.

2 Delete configuration files

When the computer is connected to an encrypted wireless signal for the first time, the system automatically generates a configuration file to record the name and password of the signal. When the wireless router (or AP) after the wireless password is changed (the SSID is not changed), when the computer connects to the signal again, the system will prompt that the connection fails. Log on to the vro management page and click Network Status  >  Master networkVerify the wireless password, as shown in the following figure:

After confirming the wireless password, Delete Wireless configuration file of the computerAnd then connect to the wireless signal again.

3 Confirm that the computer is not disabled

If the computer is displayed in the vro management interface Device Management  >  Banned devicesThe computer cannot connect to the wireless signal of the router.

Click Unban, Make sure that the list of prohibited devices is empty, and then try again.

Note:: In the traditional interface, the router enables wireless MAC address filtering to disable wireless connection from the computer to the router. In this case, the computer will prompt that Windows cannot connect to the router.

4 Comparison Terminal Testing

If the problem persists after performing the preceding operations, we recommend that you check whether the signal cannot be connected to individual computer terminals in the environment, check whether other signals on the computer are normal. We recommend that you update the NIC driver and try again. If all wireless terminals cannot connect to the router's wireless signal, we recommend that you restart or reset the router and try again.
