Install Ubuntu 10.04 two days ago
At the beginning, the gurb method was used, but every time it failed, attackers could not even Access Windows 7.
Later, we used the wubi method, but it was still a method.
At last, I installed Ubuntu 10.04 with an optical drive.
But encountered:
An error occurs when the installer copies a file to the hard disk:
[Errno 5] Input/output error
This individual error is often caused by a defective CD/DVD disc or CD/DVD drive, or by a defective hard disk. Clean the CD/DVD, use a low speed CD/DVD, or clean the head of the CD/DVD drive (cleaning supplies are usually available at the electronic equipment company) and check whether the hard disk is too old and needs to be replaced, or transferring the system to a lower-temperature environment may help solve the problem.
The installation is the same three times in a row. I think it was because I encountered an error when I was rolling a disk. I had not found a solution after searching for a long time on the Internet. Some people said it was because it was not compatible with the memory, if the memory stick is two, this will happen. I am a notebook and I cannot split one.
Later, I found that there are multiple options on the installation page. I chose to install the tool in text instead of using a graphical interface. I didn't expect the installation was successful, but it took a long time. Please wait!
