Whether the Django test was installed successfully

After we install Django, we don't have to rush to develop, we first need to know if our Django installation is successful. Here to note: Some children's shoes response installation is unsuccessful, most of the reason is: permissions issues, the current user's permissions are not enough. The file is written to the/usr/local/lib/during the Django installation, so verify that the current user has permission to operate the Lib directory before installing. This will ensure success.

Well, let's take a look at whether our Django has been successfully installed ...

1. Switch to any directory on Linux and enter the command:
shell# python

The results shown are:

Python 2.7.2 (default, Jan 19 2012, 18:26:31)
[GCC 4.1.2 20080704 (Red Hat 4.1.2-51)] on linux2
Type "Help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.

2. Then try introducing the Django module and entering the command:

>>> Import Django

No output, no error, it should be the introduction of success

3. Look at the Django version and enter the command:

>>>django. VERSION

Note: version is all uppercase

Output Result:

(1, 4, 3, ' final ', 0)

Represents the final version of 1.4.3

This also means that we installed the Django success!


