Why can't I use V4L2 to collect infrared images on the ARM board ?? -- Linux general technology-Linux technology and application information. For details, refer to the following section. I made an infrared camera image acquisition on the cm-t3530 board, the system uses the 2.6.32 kernel. Because the infrared camera outputs analog signals, it must first be converted to digital signals through the image acquisition card before further processing on the board. Now the infrared camera is connected to the image acquisition card MINE Vcap2860 through the AV terminal, and the USB port of 2860 is connected to the board.
I wrote a program to read the YUYV component of the collected images and found that all the images were 0. That is to say, the images were collected at all. If you use a USB camera to connect directly to the Board (you do not need to capture the card at this time), the YUYV component has a value, that is, the image is collected. If the infrared camera is connected to my PC through the acquisition card, the YUYV component is worth the same program. After analyzing the above situations, I don't know why I can't collect infrared images on the ARM board. Is it a hardware issue or a V4L2 driver ??
